Multimedia to me means: painting something awesome and then unenthusiastically gluing beads and foil bits on it. Oh, and smearing sparkly chapstick on the light. This is sure to get me an A!! *Sigh.*
Painting Number this one.

Risa!
Friday, November 28, 2008
In my painting class, I made friends with a girl from Japan! She's really fun and really cute. We like to hang out and kind of share cultures I guess you could say. SO I WILL SHOW PICTURES OF ADVENTURES. <3
This is me and Risa's roommate Yuko! She's really nice too! She speaks really good English, so we can sort of communicate better. We're showing off our new socks that Risa gave us. Her mom sent them over from Japan to give to her friends. Aren't they cute?
We also made this together! I unfortunately don't remember what it's called.. but it was a kind of.. sweet-red-bean-sticky-soup-with-rice-squishies-in-it. I was really yummy, but it was so different and new I wasn't able to eat much of it. I keep craving it now though. (Isn't it weird that that happens?)
And this is Risa's self-portrait from the assignment we had in class. Isn't it awesome? She is a really good painter!
A different dayt I made her (for an after-school.. snack. for lack of a better-term) an american breakfast! Toast with homemade raspberry jam, hash browns, and a fried egg. It was yummy, if I may say so myself. She liked it too, but she seems to like everything.
We also played with my webcam, which was pretty much the funniest thing ever. Sometimes quiet people can be really hilarious, it's so surprising!

Friends come and go.
OH THE MELANCHOLY OF LIFE.
Yes, it has happened again. Ditched by another boy. This one doesn't really count though, because I didn't really "go" after him. I'd learned my lesson lol. He tried me on for size and then apparently moved on to someone else. A strawberry blonde flirty peppy someone who has a lame sense of humor and doesn't want to make new friends. *Shakefist* She's in my institute class, and she ignores a lot of people there.
Actually, she reminds me alot of a certain HUGE family back in the Puyallup stake.
But I'm just spouting bitterness now.
And then a.. well. Used-to-be close friend is a close friend no longer. It's been over a year since we've really been able to connect. From her behavior it's as if she hates me now (when I've done nothing) so I'm just letting go. Why be around people who just want to abuse you and bring you down with them?
You know what though? I feel good. I love my family. I have other friends and aquaintances, and I'm having fun. Life moves on, and you meet new people. I think I'm also learning how to deal with this stuff. It doesn't hit me nearly as hard as it used to. When I found out about that guy, I was mad for about fifteen minutes and then I didn't really care anymore. The big test is to see them together, but whatever. It will probably sting.. but I'll be okay-dokay.

Twilight!!
Friday, November 21, 2008
Twilight. I saw it. I loved it! I did. I loved it. I loved the scenery, I loved the actors, I loved the twists they put on the story. I loved how Bella is now nice, Edward is unintentionally hilarious, and Victoria is no longer flat as a character. I love how they made the humans actually fun and not dull in comparison to the vampires. I loved Charlie, he stole every scene and he was so funny. I loved Jacob and Alice and Jasper. I loved how Jessica presented him as "The one who always looks like he's in pain", and he DID always look like he was in pain. I loved the sparkliness in the sunlight!! I loved the kitchen scene, I loved Rosalie's attitude. I loved the music they sprinkled throughout the movie! I loved the action, yum yum.
I did NOT love the makeout scene. But that's because I hate watching anyone kiss. I also did not love most of Edward and Bella's interaction together. But that's what I'm like with the book, too. I don't really like them, but I like the story.
Did I mention I LOVED Mike Newton?? I loved Mike Newton. He was adorable and perfect and I want to keep him.
I saw it with my friend Rachel. She's read the book, but she's not a fan like me. She thought it was good when I thought it was really good. My other friends either 1. haven't read the book, 2. hate the book, or 3. are crazy fangirls. It is not fun to talk to crazy fangirls about it. I need to find someone who thinks about the series the same way I do. I need to SQUEE without the screams!
Mm, I want to see it again. Let's you and me go now, yay!

It's been too long since I've posted!
Well, I'm sitting in my class before it's about to start, but I think I need to post a resolution here asap. Because I am addicted to the internet and this needs to be solved.
I need to stop using Digg.com
And I need to stop using facebook.com
In concept and theory, both these sites rock, but they're only as cool as the people on them. Lately digg has become a lot of "mormons suck" propoganda. Facebook has too many boys I don't want to remember.
I'll try and stop using both for one week!
